CENS-GFF Workshop on “The Geostrategic Implications of Cyberspace”

Cybersecurity has become an increasingly critical issue for many countries and the private sector. Efforts that were previously devoted to its technological and operational analysis have now been expanded to its economic, social, political, legal, and diplomatic impacts as well. Given this situation, cyber security as a strategy and public discourse requires one to undertake a whole-of-society and multidisciplinary approach. The aim of this workshop is to explore the current dynamics of cyberspace in these diverse aspects, its potential threats in the future, and policy options to address them, from an international perspective in particular. As such, theworkshop seeks to foster a much-needed dialogue between professionals, academics and national security practitioners engaged in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) security with a view to discuss the evolving landscape of cyberspace and its possible way forward.

Participation at the meeting is strictly by invitation and is free-of-charge for all participants. However, please note that a no-show fee of S$150 will be borne by registered participants who fail to attend.
