Science Video Journals in Research

Research in both the physical and biological sciences suffers from the low productivity and reproducibility of experimental studies. Video publication can address these concerns by demonstrating methods.

This presentation will:

• Provide an overview of the growing field of video publication
• Discuss technical challenges
• Highlight implications for scholarly communication
• Discuss acceptance in the academic and library community
