Event Info How to Effectively Persuade and Refute In this workshop, you will learn several techniques and tricks to effectively persuade and convince your readers/listeners in an academic setting. You will also learn some tips to clarify your own thoughts, and to present your case in clearly when preparing your paper or presentation. Last but not least, you will also learn how to convincingly refute your opponent’s views, with nothing but simple reason, in such a way that your opponent cannot rationally hold on to such a view anymore.
