Lecture Abstract:

After a decrease in the 2000s, pirates and sea muggers are back in the Malacca Straits in spite of the various counter-measures taken by littoral states to fight against these irreducible transnational criminals.

Who are they? What can be done in the near future to secure the Sea Lanes of Communication? To address these key issues, RSIS and the French Embassy have invited two speakers who will share their perspectives and views based on their work in Singapore, Indonesia and France, in regional agencies and on the field.

Dress Code: Office Attire
