What is the ReCAAP ISC Piracy and Sea Robbery Conference 2017? The ReCAAP ISC together with BIMCO, INTERTANKO, and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) will be organizing the ReCAAP ISC Piracy and Sea Robbery Conference 2017 on 27 April 2017 (0900–1200 hrs) during the Singapore Maritime Week at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. The theme of the Conference is “Changing Trends of Maritime Piracy and Sea Robbery in Asia”. The Conference will discuss the changing trends of piracy and sea robbery in Asia for the past 10 years; and address emerging and potential threats. Distinguished speakers representing the local and international shipping associations, enforcement agencies, and relevant international organization are invited to speak.
