We cordially invite you to the Nanyang Technological University – Loughborough University joint symposium on the theme of ’’Exercise Science, Technology and Medicine – The Diversified Roles of Human Movement in Modifying Health and Physical Performance Outcomes.’’  This event, hosted by Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, will be held on 10 -11 April 2017 at LKCMedicine Novena Headquarters, Lecture Theatre.  The symposium brings together Scientists, Engineers and Clinicians to discuss the roles of physical activity and exercise in influencing the state of health, ageing and chronic disease.  The symposium aims to foster greater collaboration between scientists, engineers and clinicians in both universities in the exciting area of research. The topics for the event will focus on the latest developments and technologies in the following themes:

•    Exercise in Health and Chronic Diseases
•    Exercise and Muscle Mass Preservation
•    Exercise Performance and Injury Prevention

 

Other participating institutions in NTU include The Institute for Sports Research (ISR), Ageing Research Institute for Society and Education (ARISE) and Physical Education and Sports Science - National Institute of Education (PESS-NIE), School of Mechanical and & Aerospace Engineering, and Rehabilitation Research Institute (RRIS).
