This compulsory seminar is aimed at providing all NTU Postgraduate Research students with a strong foundational knowledge of current resources, tools, methods and practices in undertaking research in a digital information environment.
During the seminar students will explore the content and coverage of information platforms and subject-specific databases for their respective disciplines, identify methods and tools for keeping current, organizing, and managing information, use digital tools to find key authors, articles, and journals, and examine current practices for participating in the academic and digital research environment.
