Event Info

The Enabling Village (EV) is an initiative by SG Enable and MSF to promote training and employment for persons with disabilities and a more inclusive society. It is an inclusive and accessible community space, open to the public, with a focus on providing training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities through social businesses.

14 September 2017, Thursday

3pm – 5pm 

$3 (Fees will go directly to the SG Enable)

Notes:

  • Please assemble at the CoLab4Good room (The Hive - B5-01) at 2.15pm for transport to Enabling Village.

  • Each participant will receive a goodie bag include an Art Faculty coupon to redeem a hand crafted drink towards the end of the tour. The café is managed and operated by the Autism Resource Centre (ARC) using baristas with autism.  This is a joint community project by ARC and Starbucks to train persons with autism to be baristas.

  • Limited to the first 20 students

 

The Volunteer 360 Experience (#V360E) is an initiative by the NTU Student Community Engagement to bring you one step closer to hidden communities in Singapore.
