Game Theory - the study of human conflict and cooperation within a competitive situation, which is mainly used in economics, political science, and psychology, as well as logic, computer sicence and biology.

About the Speaker:

As the Chief Operating Officer of China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd, Ms Jean Teo is responsible for managing the trading, aviation marketing and operations functions of the Group which has subsidiaries in US, London and Hong Kong. She is involved in the development and execution of trading strategies and performance targets for all trading businesses of the Group, which includes a growing product portfolio of jet fuel, gasoil, fuel oil, avgas and crude oil. Her responsibilities also include assisting the CEO to identify investment projects and new businesses in line with CAO’s growth strategy.

 

Ms Teo has more than@20 years of experience in the oil trading industry. Prior to joining CAO, she was a senior trader of distillates products at Cargill International Pte Ltd. Ms Teo began her career with BP Singapore Pte. Ltd (BPS), where she held various positions from 1997 to 2010.

 

Ms Teo holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Manchester Business School, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Engineering, Chemical (Honours) from National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and received the Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration from the National University of Singapore in 2013 as well as a Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre since 2015.
