The 5Cs of 3D Printing - Chocolate, Cells, Concrete, Circuits and Copper

As part of our "Did You Know" Monthly Talk Series at Nanyang Technological University, we have Professor Chua Chee Kai, Executive Director of Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), to speak on "The 5Cs of 3D Printing - Chocolate, Cells, Concrete, Circuits and Copper".


Synopsis

Can you imagine a world where you get to wake up in a 3D-printed house, eat 3D-printed food, and, drive a 3D-printed car to work while wearing 3D-printed braces? This futuristic world is well within our sight! Professor Chua Chee Kai, Executive Director of Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), will explain 3D printing and its applications. Using the familiar 5Cs format, he will discuss the many applications of 3D printing in various industries and why 3D printing is important to Singapore as an advanced technology of the future.
