‘NTU NEWRI-LEF Asia Network of Excellence in Water Development Work' spotlights two keynote speakers Mr. Koh Lian Hock of Lien Aid, and Dr Yeoh Oon Beng of World Vision International, to present contemporary case studies in their respective regions of environmental management in developing or war-torn countries.

Following this theme, NEWRIComm will also present their Lien Environmental Fellowship (LEF) projects in Asian countries like Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

Moderated by Prof Ng Wun Jern, Founder of NEWRI Community Development, join us in the dialogue session between Mr. Koh & Dr Yeoh as they seek to address key challenges & future trends of water and environmental management in developing countries, their socio-economic impact as well as future trends and opportunities in the development of clean water access in Asia.

In conjunction with the Lien Environmental Fellowship (LEF) program, NEWRIComm has spearheaded environment and sustainability projects in over 7 countries in Asia and benefitting over 1 million beneficiaries.

In 2017, NEWRIComm was conferred the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award & IES Prestigious Engineering Award for its engineering project in Mitigation of Pollution at Kandy Lake.
