Event Info

In course of your candidature, you will collect, create, and analyze a large amount of research data; and probably re-use third party data too. So what are the best ways to organize and store your research data to ensure their reusability in time to come? And what are the things to look out for if you would like to share your research data to allow re-use by other researchers?

The Research Data Management Team from the Office of Information, Knowledge and Library Services (OIKLS) will be conducting this introductory workshop, where the following topics will be covered:

  • What is research data management and why it is important

  • Best practices in data documentation, storage and citation

  • Benefits of sharing, preserving and licensing data for re-use

  • Using NTU research data repository, DR-NTU (Data), to manage and store your research data

  • Using NTU research paper publications repository, DR-NTU, to enjoy the benefits of open access for your research papers
