Synopsis

Are you ready for what is next? As the pace of technological change continues to quicken, what is it that we need to know to stay informed and in step with what is next. Entrepreneurship is the engine of the economy and creativity and innovation are its fuel.  In this talk, we will explore the paradox of innovation and entrepreneurship, unraveling the trade-offs between what we know, new knowledge, and what is next. Building on Peter Drucker’s seven elements of innovation, Dr. Matthews builds a competency model of innovation, a process model of entrepreneurship, and challenges you to creatively explore the problem, solution, addressable market matrix of building the next generation of start-ups.
