Event Info The Division of Nuclear Security at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is responsible for coordinating and implementing the IAEA's nuclear security program to protect against, detect, and respond to threats and acts of nuclear terrorism. In this seminar, Dr. Charles Massey will discuss the role of science and technology in nuclear security detection, dealing with operational environments and dynamic threats, among others. Dr Massey will also talk about transforming data into useful information for security and frontline officers; policy and operational issues; and gaps in technology.
