Be a part of something meaningful and meet world-renowned oceanographer Dr Sylvia Earle, Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society, Time Magazine’s first Hero for the Planet. 

Regardless of where you at in your journey to be environmentally-conscious, here’s an opportunity to be a part of something both fun and meaningful as well as meet and greet world-renowned oceanographer Dr Sylvia Earle, Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society, Time Magazine’s first Hero for the Planet and subject of the Emmy® Award Winning Netflix documentary, Mission Blue.

Join Dr Sylvia Earle and NTU senior management as they participate in a beach clean-up organised by NTU in line with Ocean Geographic’s Elysium Epic Trilogy.

Beach Clean-up at East Coast Beach

Date: Friday, 16 August 2019
Time: 9am to 10:30am 
Venue: East Coast Park (Area E)

Participation in the beach clean-up event is free. Transportation to and from NTU will be arranged. Participants may also choose to go directly to the venue if that is preferred.
