Event Info
The workshops will be open to all the research students who are interested in improving academic presentation skills. Both teaching sessions and practicing sessions will be included.
In the teaching sessions, people will learn how to design appealing PPT slides and how to present their research in a well-organized way.
A practicing session will follow a teaching session. Participants can sign up and practice with each other for their Thesis Oral Defence Presentation or Qualifying Examination (QE). Questions and Feedback from other participants will be given to the practisers during the practicing sessions.
In total, participants will be enriched with creative slides design skills and practical oral presentation skills.
*The time span for practicing sessions might be modified based on how many people sign up for practice.
