He currently provides consultancy services related to Smart Cities for the public and private sectors, with innovative solution providers.

Synopsis:

The current global COVID-19 pandemic is truly an urgent wake-up call for cities around the world to “go digital”. In other words, they must become “smart cities” in order to sustain their economies.

But what does it mean by being a “Smart City”?

In this session, KC will share his perspectives and what “a smart city” means in Singapore and to ASEAN stakeholders.

He will also give an overview of the “Fundamentals of Industry 4.0” Series, launched in Jan 2020 to support the NUS MSc Industry 4.0 Capstone Project where the project team learnt basic concepts of IoT and Artificial Intelligence with an actual project in close collaboration with Industry partners.
