About the seminar:

This seminar aims to provide an introduction to mindfulness and its practice to better manage stress and anxiety amidst the hectic, uncertain times we live in. Topics covered include an introduction to mindfulness, common mindfulness techniques, recognising stressors faced by graduate students and the positive impact mindfulness has on stress reduction. There is also an interactive segment where students will get an opportunity to practice common mindfulness techniques and get answers for their queries in the Q&A section.

 

About the speaker:
Tan Peck Hian, Benedict 
 

Benedict is a counsellor from the University Wellbeing Centre in NTU. He obtained his B.A. in Psychology from the National University of Singapore and M.A. in Counselling from Monash University. He has counselling experiences in both the ministry and social services sectors prior to joining NTU.
