Event Info

Join us for an introduction to Tableau, one of the most widely-used data analytics and visualisation tools today. Using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, it enables users to analyse their data and build interactive visualisations without the need for any coding skills. With the exponential growth in data, it is crucial to master the art of data visualisation and communication so that you could grab the attention of your stakeholders and share the fruits of your research or projects more effectively. A purposeful data visualisation strategy enables us to tell compelling stories and discover interesting patterns and insights. In this workshop, we will discuss some of the visual best practices using real world examples, followed by an introductory hands-on session with Tableau Public (free version) which has been voted as the leader in 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms.
