Event Info GC-TSS - Career PreparationNegotiation and Conflict Managementby Aloysius Goh17 March 2021, Wed | 10.30am – 12noon | Livestream
About the seminar: Interaction that matters involves people. Anything that involves people will involve difference. When people differ, how they negotiate determines what they achieve. Consciously or unconsciously, everyone is already a negotiator. It is therefore crucial to learn how best to navigate negotiations strategically and effectively. This session will introduce attendees to the Harvard-based negotiation methodology and demonstrate how active listening skills and techniques can be used to de-escalate tensions, in order to achieve sustainable and value-creating solutions through interest-based problem-solving.
