Waste to Gold Workshop | Entrepreneurship for Good 2022
How does a humble fly turn waste into gold? Singapore’s first urban insect farm, Insectta, is harvesting biomaterials of the future.
Using the black soldier fly to process biomaterials for skin care products and organic semi-conductors, Insectta is also exploring to use this sustainable process in other applications such as, wound healing and 3D printing. Curious to know what else this sustainable process can do? Join us on a hands-on experience that is centered around sustainability, food waste, and insect farming. In this workshop, Ms Chua Kai-Ning, founder of Insectta, will be sharing her experience, the challenges she faced as a young entrepreneur, and the factors for her success in creating a sustainable enterprise.
