Event Info

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University has partnered with Changi Sports Medicine Centre, Changi General Hospital to offer non-specialists training programmes aimed at empowering primary care physicians with fundamental sports medicine knowledge and skills. The Sports Medicine Theory Course (SMTC) is an online non-accreditation programme aimed at providing medical doctors with fundamental knowledge of sports medicine practice. The SMTC comprises six online modules, with 4 – 5 lectures in each module to be delivered using pre-recorded lectures. 

The course duration is from 1 January to 30 June annually.

Documents to submit for registration

  • Bachelor's degree certificate (soft copy)
  • Curriculum vitae with details of working experience / postings​ including a passport-size photo
  • Photocopy of NRIC / Employment Pass (front and back)
  • SMC practising certificate

Course Fee

Full fees without subsidy: S$3,400 (before prevailing government tax of 7% for payment received before 31 December 2022). For payment received after 31 December 2022, government tax of 8% will apply. Singaporeans and Singapore PRs may be eligible for the following subsidies:

1. The above subsidies apply to self-sponsored and company-sponsored participants. 

2. The above fees are applicable based on government tax of 7%. For payment received after 31 December 2022, the applicant will be re-invoiced based on government tax of 8%.
