Event Info

The Red Pencil (Singapore) aims to bring the power of creative arts as a way of expression towards joy, balance and wellbeing, with a special focus on arts therapy. In this session of art therapy, we hope to offer a first-hand experience to invite opening of our senses and body connection, reflecting the significance and relationship of our sensations and emotions. Through the activities, it helps to build a safe space to provide individuals with collective rest, dreams, existential issues, emotions and motivations.

Objective:

At TEDx NTU 2022: Pause To Progress, The Red Pencil (Singapore) brings to you an ART therapy workshop which aims at :

  • Understanding & Experiencing Art Therapy
  • PAUSE TO sense and feel
  • PAUSE TO empathise
  • PAUSE TO connect...

in an effort to PAUSE TO PROGRESS

Organizer’s Profile

The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances.

Participants in this workshop have the option of consenting to have their artworks showcased at the Art Therapy Exhibition  on 10th September 2022.
