Title | Gamifying the learning of data structures and algorithms – Part 1: puzzle games |
Summary | Gamification is proven to be an effective mode of student learning. For the EEE course IE2108: Data structures and algorithms, the use of puzzle games such as Sudoku, Maze, Minesweeper, and Mastermind will be an efficient manner for students to play and learn the concepts at the same time. Along with Python coding to simulate the games and demonstrate the solving of puzzle games in the most efficient manner, the project will also showcase a user interface for learners to interact and choose algorithms/methods that will showcase various outcomes for each game. |
