| Title | Development of a Physics-Based Rendering Application |
| Summary | This project aims to develop a rendering application that incorporates Physics-Based Rendering (PBR) using C++ and the OpenGL graphics library. The primary objective is to gain a practical understanding of the rendering process, connecting/bridging the theoretical concepts of the rendering pipeline with their application in real-time computer graphics. By implementing PBR within shader programs, the project seeks to replicate realistic material appearances by accurately modeling light–surface interactions. Although the project has selected C++ with OpenGL for its performance, extensibility, and industry relevance, comparisons will also be made between alternative workflows, such as using Python or MATLAB, highlighting the strengths and limitations of each. |
