| Title | A FAST project: Fuzzing Approach for Securing Third-party drivers |
| Summary | This project aims to identify previously unreported vulnerabilities in third-party drivers. The process begins by selecting potential targets such as VMWare, Asus, or Dell drivers and developing an understanding of their functionality. A suitable fuzzer is then chosen based on the driver’s characteristics, and a dedicated fuzzing harness is crafted to integrate with the fuzzing framework. A structured fuzzing campaign is carried out, followed by systematic crash analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities. For each crash, a proof of concept is developed, and its exploitability is evaluated through the analysis of possible attack primitives. |
