Title Design of a Fully Differential Controlled Gain Open-Loop Wideband Amplifier with high PSRR
Summary The design of this 12dB 200MHz controlled gain wideband amplifier in 0.18um CMOS technology operates with a 1.8V supply taking differential input voltage and providing a differential output voltage within the swing range of 0.25 to 1.55V with a current consumption under 1mA, a settling time of under 20ns and THD of under -36dB. The output DC is maintained at a common-mode voltage through the common-mode feedback circuit. The circuit simulation should be performed at all process model corners before the layout of the circuit. Post-layout simulation is required to ensure that the parasitic contribution through layout is kept within +/- 10%. The silicon area is to be confined within 110um X 40um. The resulting circuit would be of great interest for a student with an inclination towards analog IC design.
