Title | Human Pose Estimation Using Artificial Intelligence |
Summary | Visual image analytics, recognition and processing has emerged as an important commercial, research, and application area with high impacts in recent years. The objective of this project is to study and develop visual image analytics algorithm for emerging applications. Some possible topics include object detection and tracking, person re-identification, pose estimation, action recognition, gesture recognition, emotion recognition, etc. Student will have the opportunities to perform feasibility study, explore state-of-the-art deep learning techniques (e.g., transformers, large language models), conduct brainstorming on exciting new ideas, and/or providing value-adding to existing methods. The scope of this project is flexible. Students who are interested in artificial intelligence and data analytics are strongly encouraged to take up this project. |
