Title | Classification and recognition of pulse repetition interval modulation using deep learning algorithms |
Summary | The pulse repetition interval (PRI) denotes the time interval between the emission of two consecutive pulses which serves as a key characteristic that reveals the periodicity within radar pulse streams. In electronic warfare, PRI modulation recognition holds significant importance for the identification of the emitter and its working pattern. Nowadays, deep learning-based models demonstrated remarkable efficacy and find extensive application in radar signal processing, such as recurrent neural networks (RNN) and convolutional neural networks (CNN)-based PRI modulation recognition. In this project, the student is expected to investigate a novel algorithm which can achieve better PRI modulation modes recognition results. Matlab or Python programming will be used to generate numerical results for this project. |
