| Title | Forecasting BTO Demand and Resale Flat Prices in Singapore Using Public Data |
| Summary | The objective of this project is to build a decision-support tool that helps couples evaluate their housing choices by focusing on two key aspects: (1) resale value after the flat enters the open market and (2) BTO demand at the point of application. For BTOs, the tool will use historical application data to show how competitive different flat types and towns are within a sales launch. For resale flats, it will apply transaction data to estimate future market prices based on attributes such as size, lease years, and location. By combining these insights, the tool will allow couples to compare options and better understand the opportunity costs of their housing decisions. |
