Title Smart Post-Harvest Mango Sorting System for Small Farms in Developing Communities
Summary This project aims to design and develop an AI mango detection and sorting system that is portable, cost-effective, and specifically tailored for small-scale farmers to improve the post-harvesting process of mangoes, specifically exporting of the fruit.

The project utilizes computer vision techniques to detect the mangoes and classify them as either healthy or defective, before automatically sorting the fruits into their respective boxes. In addition, foreign objects that are not recognized as mangoes will be labelled as irrelevant, ensuring they do not get sorted together with the fruits.

By automating this process, the project aims to reduce post-harvest losses, improve efficiency, and provide small-scale farmers with access to affordable technology for better handling of their harvests.
