Title | Design and Development of an Immersive Game (B) |
Summary | In this project, a team of 3 students will design and build an Immersive Game. The team may, but not limited to, make use of motion sensing or virtual reality technologies to achieve the immersive experience. As such, technologies like Virtual Reality, Unreal Engine and Unity could be explored for possible use in the project. Each team member will be working on different parts of the entire game, ranging from the design and animation of the characters and objects, development of the story, to the building of the game mechanics and program. This project will be considered for submission to the Game Development World Championship competition (https://thegdwc.com/) or the Independent Game Festival (igf.com). This project is for students who love to play and develop game programs, and most importantly, love software development and having fun with the game development process. This project is suitable for students who like to invest time in learning and exploring about game development, and use this to lay foundation for developing a more elaborated game in their future career. |
