Title Design and fabrication of subwavelength photonic structures for beam shaping
Summary Subwavelength photonic structures are important which can be used for beam shaping of various light sources. In this project, the student is going to design and fabricate the subwavelength structures for terahertz beam shaping. At the first stage, the student will learn the fundamental principle of beam shaping in the optical domain. At the second stage, based on the fundamental principle in the optical domain, the student will design and fabricate the proper structures to achieve the beam shaping in the terahertz domain. The student are expected to have some experience on simulations and experimental characterizations on optics and photonics.
