Title Digital generation of structured light beams by spatial light modulators
Summary Structured light refers to the arbitrarily tailoring of optical field patterns in all their degrees of freedom, including amplitude, phase, polarization and so on. Spatial light modulators (SLMs) are versatile digital devices used for optical studies with a wide area of applications from imaging to communication. This project will explore the controlled generation of diversified on-demand structured light beams by digitally controlling computer-generated holograms on the SLM screen.
