Title Design of Silicon Neuron - 1
Summary This project aims to design a silicon neuron based on an analog and mixed-signal design approach; a silicon neuron is a hardware that mimics the behaviour of biological neurons. The primary objective is to design and implement an ultra-low-power, highly efficient silicon neuron that can replicate key characteristics of neuronal dynamics, such as spiking, refractory periods, and synaptic plasticity. In addition to the design and implementation, the project will include a comprehensive literature review on silicon neuron hardware design and its applications in AI hardware modeling.
