Title | Co-evolution of infectious diseases and social networks: a simulation study |
Summary | It is well known that spreading of infectious diseases may significantly change the social network connections, which in turn may impose pressure on evolution of infectious agents. Through numerical simulations, we may test on some scenarios of disease spreading and the corresponding social network dynamics. Simulations will also test on the effects of some disease control approaches, on disease spreading as well as on social network evolution. Student is expected to have reasonably programming skills in Python or Matlab or Java or C++ (any one of them). |
