Title Design and analysis of axial-flux permanent magnet motor for electric motorbike
Summary This project is intended to design a high-performance axial-flux permanent magnet machine for electric motorbike. The electrification of motorbike propulsion is becoming a significant trend with the advancement of electric motor technology. The axial flux permanent magnet (PM) motor is capable of delivering higher torque, power, and efficiency in a more compact design compared to the traditional radial flux PM motor. This project enables students to develop a three-dimensional electromagnetic model of an axial flux PM motor for electric motorbike applications, including detailed analysis, simulation, and evaluation of performance results. Exceptional machine design can be manufactured as the experimental prototype for verification.
