| Title | Automatic logger DVB-T2 Receiver for Mobile Reception in Singapore: |
| Summary | The evolution of digital switch over from analogue to digital TV is expected over the next few years. Digital TV provides more features that make the reception of signals higher quality (e.g. HDTV), 3D, and interactive. The project will study the effecdts of various parameters, e.g. signal strength, MER, BER that affect the quality of the digital signals. In particular, the effect of clutter loss is one such parameter that depends on the different terrain and environment. The student will be measuring the various parameters i.e. signal strength for the HDB home environment. The project would be suitable for students who are interested using hardware i.e. network analyzers, measurement equipment. The other work consists of Matlab simulation software, SQL and Labview. The students should be independent and able to work with engineers experience with RF measurement. |
