| Title | Cross-platform Mobile Application for NTU MSc Students and Alumni Network |
| Summary | This project aims to design and develop a Cross-Platform Mobile Application to enhance employability and social integration for current and past Master of Science (MSc) students in Nanyang Technological University’s (NTU) School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). The app addresses the absence of an alumni engagement platform while supporting international MSc students in building lasting ties with NTU and Singapore. The application supports both direct and group communication, through chats that can be created manually or generated via a user-matching algorithm. A dedicated mentorship and job listing page enables student development, where alumni can offer guidance and employment opportunities to current MSc students. To encourage further social integration, the app includes a gamified experience with a Singapore trivia quiz and a personal footprint map that motivates MSc students to discover local culture and locations. This extends into the events page, where users can create or join activities around the places they explore, besides official NTU events. Alumni will be automatically grouped by their graduation year, allowing them to reconnect with peers from the same cohort in the long-term. |
