| Title | AI-Enabled Ambassador Platform for Enhanced Support for EEE MSc Students |
| Summary | The project involves the design and prototyping of an AI-enabled Ambassador Platform to better serve students at NTU in MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). The system has a three-layered architecture of (1) AI chatbot that uses a curated body of knowledge to field repetitive and factual queries; (2) student ambassador portal that is used to respond to experience-based queries; and (3) an administrator layer that is used to finalize escalations and content management. The web application prototype was created based on a modular architecture and each role has a separate portal. The AI chatbot will also include natural language processing (NLP) models to provide contextually based answers, whereas the backend will include a searchable database of frequently asked questions and program documentation. The admin portal enables real-time updates of the knowledge database, chatbot training information, and assignments of ambassadors and analytics dashboards to track the number of queries and response rates. |
