Title Outreach Focused Enterprise Network Design for Junior College students
Summary The objective of this project is to design and implement a comprehensive workshop that introduces Junior College graduates to core enterprise networking concepts while highlighting their relevance in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The workshop adopts a progressive curriculum, introducing foundational topics such as switching, routing, and IP addressing, and advancing to more complex areas, including VLANs and access control. Hands-on lab activities will be conducted mainly using Cisco Packet Tracer, allowing participants to simulate real-world networking scenarios and develop problem-solving skills. Beyond technical knowledge, the workshop serves as an outreach initiative by EEE to engage and inspire students, showcasing both the academic curriculum and industry significance of networking in today’s connected world.
