| Title | PhytoLens – An AI assisted mobile application to identify plants / animals using the camera |
| Summary | This project aims to develop a mobile application to identify plants/animals and provide the user with useful information. The mobile app shall use the smartphone camera to capture a picture of the object and shall utilize existing generative AI model where possible. This app target at hikers as there are many poisonous plants in the wild that many do not know about. This can help to identify any poisonous plants along with their trails. The application by default needs internet access to connect to the AI and database. If time permits, this project shall also explore some of the functions like identifying objects in offline mode. |
