Title Indoor Positioning System Using BLE Beacons and Smartphone Sensors
Summary This project aims to develop a software-based indoor positioning system for environments such as classrooms or laboratories. Since GPS performs poorly indoors, the system will use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons together with smartphone sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer) to estimate location. A mobile application will be created to process signals, track movement, and visualize the user’s location within the indoor space. The system will be tested in a controlled environment with a target accuracy of about 2–3 meters, focusing on software development and practical algorithm integration.
