Title | Software receiver for GPS (1) |
Summary | GPS L5 is a new navigation signal from the latest range of GPS satellites. It has ten times wider bandwidth than current GPS L1 signals giving much better positioning precision and ability to resolve multipath propagation impairments. In this project the student will develop a software receiver for demodulating and decoding received L5 signals from GPS satellites. The software receiver will be developed using MATLAB and tested first with simulated signals. Following that, the software receiver will be tested with digitized received signals from the real world. This project is tailored towards experiences in analysis, design, implementation and testing of GNSS software receiver. |
