Title Adaptive Backstepping Control for a Class of Nonlinear Systems with Non-triangular Structural Uncertainties
Summary Adaptive control of nonlinear systems has undergone rapid developments in the past few decades. As a promising approach, backstepping technique and its alternatives have been widely used in the design of adaptive controllers to compensate for uncertainties caused by unknown parameters. Except for parametric uncertainties, unknown nonlinear modeling errors are also unavoidable and should be taken into account in the design and analysis of control systems. We have developed a new adaptive control scheme to control such uncertain nonlinear systems. In this project, the scheme will be implemented and tested by using Simulink.
