Title High-performance van der Waals optoelectronic devices
Summary Van der Waals materials and heterostructures have the potential to revolutionize various optoelectronic devices by offering strong light-matter interactions at quantum limits, wide-range tunability, flexibility etc. This project aims to develop high-performance photodetectors that works in a broad range from far infrared to UV by taking advantage of the quantum degree of freedoms in van der Waal heterostructures. The heterostructures will also be engineered for dynamic control of device operation with electrical stimulus.
