Title | Derivation and proof of vector identities |
Summary | This project aims to derive and prove various vector identities including gradient, divergence and curl operations, which may also involve 3x3 matrices. The derivation and proof can be carried out on paper with the aid of symbolic MATLAB. Extensions should be made to 4-vectors and 4x4 matrices. This project is suitable for students who have background knowledge on mathematics and strong interest to pursue further research. |
