Title Formulation of electromagnetic equations in tensor notations
Summary This project aims to formulate electromagnetic equations in covariant and contravariant tensor notations. The equations may include Maxwell’s equations, current continuity equation, Lorentz force equation, Poynting vector, Lorenz/Coulomb gauge etc. The formulation can be carried out on paper with the aid of symbolic MATLAB. This project is suitable for students who have background knowledge on mathematics and strong interest to pursue further research.
