| Summary | Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) have shown powerful abilities in controlling the reflections, transmissions, and polarizations of electromagnetic (EM) waves. This project aims to carry out the design, fabrication and control of RIS to achieve reconfigurable EM-wave transmissions and reflections, and simultaneously cross-linearized polarization conversions. PIN diodes or other active elements are to be used for reconfigurability. |
