Title Modelling and Control of Wireless Power Transfer System for Electric Vehicle Charging
Summary This project aims to develop a comprehensive model and control strategy for a wireless power transfer (WPT) system designed for electric vehicle (EV) charging. The study will involve the creation of a mathematical model to simulate the WPT system, considering factors such as resonance, coil alignment, and power transfer efficiency. The student will explore various control techniques to optimize power transfer and enhance system stability under varying load conditions. The project will also include the design and implementation of a prototype WPT system, allowing for practical testing and validation of the proposed control strategies. The outcome will contribute to the advancement of efficient and reliable wireless charging technologies for EVs, addressing key challenges in the field.
